Hoot’n Annie String Band released our first CD project “Just Happy to Be Here” in August of 2018. Recorded live at Paradyme Productions in Madison, WI, by Jake Johnson and Justin Hind, this CD is jam-packed with 21 songs about life: hardship and plenty, tears and laughter, love and loss, give and take, work and play, joy and pain.
Our second CD project “Lullabies and Love Songs” was released in August of 2019, and features 14 of our favorite lullabies and love songs. This CD was also recorded live at Paradyme Productions by Jake Johnson and was mixed and mastered by Jake Johnson and Justin Hind. Our intrepid band of Hoots recorded all 14 songs in just one day, with the help of Jake’s great ear and guidance. Ars longa, vita brevis.
Music brings it all together in ways that help everything make perfect sense. When it all comes down to it, we’re just happy to be here.
