When the mood strikes him – at least once a week – Prentice comes up with some awesome poster artwork to represent Hoot’n Annie. Occasionally, we also get a really creative work of poetry.
We’re the Open Carry Banjo Lobby and we’re coming to your town,
With the safety off our strings, we’ll be taking away frowns.
We’ll be taking ’em into grocery stores, and takin’ em into banks.
We’ll be paradin’ ’em into school yards, duelin’ among the ranks.
And if we see a gun man, with his wee penis on his hip,
We’ll first look him in the eye, and singin’ kind of sly
“Pluck you!” then surround him with love and force him to surrender.
Pack up your troubles,
Grab a seat,
Hoot ‘n Annie’s tuning
While friends we greet.
We’ll be singing some new songs, but mostly they’re old
Remembering best friends
Their stories retold.
